TWANG Rocks 2008 

The Twang Rocks music festival was held successfully on July 26, with the Mityana team actively involved. With Vicki Cope at the heart of organising things, many of the members and parents did a turn on stalls to help fill the all day schedule.

Work for the event included

• Ensuring that the food stall/s are staffed all day
• Ensuring that the kids bar is staffed all day
• Ensuring that the ice cream stall is staffed all day
• Covering the stalls (Gazebos) and lighting them when it gets dark
• Pricing the food
• Money floats on the day
• Supplying cups, serviettes, teaspoons, chip cones for serving food.

It was a very busy day for members and parent alike and the sunshine made even better - even if one or two did get a little sunburnt. The stalls raised a very nice £295.71 with the share of the gate money to be confirmed.
