
Testbourne Team Uganda 2011


They were picked not for their academic abilities alone but for their general all round behaviour and attitude to learning, as well as their everyday conduct and manners.
The next trip will take place in October 2011 and is the fifth of a five-
Mr Chris Rowe, Rev Dodie Marsden and Mrs Ruth Beasley will accompany the pupils, building further on the previous Testbourne School visits to the area (2007-2010).
The two-week trip will include a visit to an orphanage, church services, Mityana district hospital,
an African drum session and excursions to the Murchison Falls National Park,
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
The pupils will also learn about the language, the tribal systems, social issues, HIV and Aids and also experience first-
Any fundraising additional to the trip itself will be distributed to several places that we visit on our trip e.g. the orphange and local rural primary schools and of course the secondary school.
